Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Senior Director of Finance.

Our client is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the utility and telecom industries, helping to ensure the integrity, safety, and reliability of the infrastructure that powers our world. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Senior Director of Finance to join our dynamic leadership team.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Director of Finance to lead and oversee key finance functions across pricing, sales finance, and corporate FP&A reporting. This role is vital to providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and supporting decision-making processes within the company. The Senior Director of Finance will manage a team of 7 professionals in pricing, 3 in sales finance, and oversee corporate FP&A reporting efforts. This leadership role will work closely with the CFO to drive financial performance, profitability, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy & Management

  • Lead the pricing team to develop and implement competitive pricing models for services offered across various business segments.
  • Ensure pricing strategies align with business goals and market trends, optimizing revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to integrate financial and market data into pricing decisions.
  • Analyze and track the financial impact of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to improve margins and profitability.

Sales Finance Leadership

  • Oversee the sales finance team to drive accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis related to sales performance.
  • Partner with the sales leadership team to provide financial insights that optimize sales strategies and achieve corporate objectives.
  • Monitor key sales metrics and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on sales performance and financial outlook.

Corporate FP&A Reporting & Strategy

  • Lead corporate FP&A reporting processes, including monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the CFO and executive leadership team, providing clear insights into company performance, trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Guide the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial projections, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and proactively recommend actions to optimize financial performance.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and support professional growth.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline across the teams.

Collaboration with Leadership

  • Work closely with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to influence key business decisions.
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives and special projects as needed, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in pricing strategy, sales finance, and corporate FP&A in an industrial services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, along with dashboarding fluency (PowerBI).
  • Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 salary plus 25-30% bonus
