Senior Tax Accountant
Tampa, Florida
$90,000 - $130,000

My client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations. This individual will play a key role in providing expert tax advice, managing complex tax situations, and ensuring clients are compliant with ever-evolving tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.
Prepare and review complex individual, fiduciary, and non-profit tax returns.
Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with changes in tax law, particularly those affecting HNWIs, trusts, and non-profit entities.
Work closely with clients to develop tax strategies that align with their financial goals and mitigate tax liabilities.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide integrated solutions for clients across accounting, estate planning, and financial advisory services.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior tax accountants, ensuring high standards of work and compliance.
Represent the firm in client meetings, managing client relationships and delivering high-quality, client-focused services.
Qualifications:
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5-7 years of tax experience, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, including estate and gift tax laws.
Proven ability to handle complex tax situations and provide strategic tax planning advice.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with tax preparation software and proficiency in accounting software.
