Assistant Scheduler
We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Scheduler . This position will ensure we are building products on the floor to the customer’s schedule using the ERP system and various planning tools. They will work with the Master Scheduler and Warehouse to get job orders to the first shop operation. They will inform Sales of the status of customer orders and of MS component availability for customer orders. Manage MRO purchase order requests. Provide backup support to the Master Scheduler and to the Supply Chain Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
· Analyze ERP Planning Details to issue job orders for Bandy’s Military Standards Lines.
· Negotiate with Sales on the usage of GW components in fulfilling customer orders.
· Allocate MS GW components to Job Orders.
· Put together printed job packets and do transaction moves.
· Work with warehouse on material issues.
· Support the creation and notification of Scorecard data.
· Manage the MRO purchase order requests
· Attend Recovery Board meetings. Perform any supply chain actions resulting from the meetings.
Job Requirements:
· Detail Oriented.
· Analytical skills.
· Good verbal and group communication skills
· Strong MS Office skills with good written communication. Must have the ability to write a clear and concise email.
· Advanced Excel skills
· ERP and Manufacturing experience preferred, Aerospace experience a plus.
· Bachelors in business administration or related degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
· APICS certification a plus.
While working in the shop you will be required to use the following:
· Safety Glasses/Googles meeting the ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirement with permanent side shields
· Safety Shoes that meet the ANSI Z41 standard with a steel or composite toe are required
Wage Range: $20.00/hour - $32.00/hour
