Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Westwood, NJ 07675. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• Mammography Technologist Days. 40 hours per week (9 am – 5 pm) 13 weeks.
• New Jersey Mammography Technologist License, BLS (American Heart Assoc.).
• Bachelor's Degree

Mammography Technologist:

• Performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol including advanced Mammography procedures like stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, drainages.
• Perform the quality control functions related to mammography.
• Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner.
• The Mammography Tech in this department provides care for adult patients between 18 to 64 years.
• Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams on incoming patients.
• Assess patient’s medical condition, age, size and other related medical conditions to determine if patient is able to undergo mammography examination and to how best to obtain optimal results/images.
• Immobilize patient as required for appropriate examination, explaining the need for breast compression during mammography.
• Assume responsibility for mammography equipment and reports equipment malfunction.
• Demonstrates the ability to operate mammography and biopsy equipment properly.

Experience required:

• Minimum 2 yr Mammography Technologist exp required.

• Shifts: 40 hours per week (Days: 9 am – 5 pm) 13 weeks.
• Weekly Pay: $2500/week to $2750/week
