Food Scientist

Join an industry leader in premium pet products! We are seeking a Food Scientist who will assist with formula development, QC testing and work to launch new products. We are recognized for our excellence, quality, innovation and leadership in today's pet industry.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Vendors to shape product ideas.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to set specs and launch products.
• Review packaging for accuracy (ingredients, claims, compliance).
• Assist with formula development and ingredient analysis.
• Perform quality tests using in-house and third-party labs.
• Track trends in pet and consumer markets.
• Suggest new products and product improvements.
• Keep up-to-date with FDA, USDA, and AAFCO regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food regulations.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills.
