Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:

To support the customer service department with routine administrative functions. Provide month end support and vacation backup.​

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility. Perform work duties in accordance with Quality System Manual.
  • Process incoming commission orders in ERP in accordance with Quality System Manual.
  • Periodic reconciliation of incoming commission statements.
  • Verify customer pricing and terms of sale and maintain rebates in ERP system in accordance with procedures set forth by the department Manager.
  • Perform monthly consignment reconciliation.
  • When applicable perform goods issue functions for third party orders. In coordination with the supplier, ensure carrier arrangement and complete post goods issue in ERP system.
  • Acts as local master data steward.
  • Performs functions of ERP Key User to include key user training, FT3 testing.
  • Ensure excellence procedures are followed and assists internal and external auditors.
  • Ensures ERP integrity with respect to Pricing Expirations, Mass changes, PI01 Maintenance and Rail/tracking car costs.
  • Assist with setup and monitoring of customer portals to ensure invoice processing.
  • Provides Month-end support for business activities including invoicing.
  • Approval and Release of returns/credits.
  • Assists with customer mailings.
  • Assist with new hire training as needed.
  • Provides vacation coverage/back-up in the customer service area as needed.
  • Ensure entry of price support and perform monthly reconciliation.
  • Adhere to internal processes in all instances, and currently identify request exceptions as appropriate.
  • ​Other duties as assigned​.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate. Minimum 5years of Customer Service experience and 3 years of data auditing and analytics experience is required.

Advanced SAP, EDI experience and Excel skills is required. Must be able to pass an Excel test.
